Fishermen from the local Isato Fishing Cooperative Association, as well as fishermen from Shodoshima and Ieshima, arrive from the sea early in the morning around 6:00 to 7:30 am with a full load of fresh seafood. The fish brought in are priced on the spot and offered at prices only possible through the direct management of a fishing cooperative.
The “MANA Shop” is also very crowded with about 30 specialty stores selling fresh food stalls, vegetables, fruits, flowers, breads, eggs, etc.
