Bishugama pays a great deal of attention to customer service under the motto "a kiln that is loved.
It is equipped with a large parking lot and receives a total of 2,500 tourist buses annually.
In our large exhibition hall, we display and sell approximately 10,000 works by Bishugama potters and artists of the Yamamoto family lineage and Tohshu family. Bishugama is committed to further promoting the appreciation of Bizen Pottery, a traditional craft with a history of 1,000 years.
In the "hands-on corner," which can accommodate up to 200 people, potters provide detailed instruction and allow visitors to create their own hand-built pieces. The studio and kiln are always open to the public, and visitors are free to observe the pottery making process and kiln firing, and receive easy-to-understand explanations as needed.
