Aspired to become a ceramic artist at an early age under his father, a Bizen Pottery artist. He majored in sculpture at university. With the sense of creating "objects that can be used," he pursues creative modeling, firing in a wood-fired kiln, and a variety of colors and techniques of expression unique to Bizen ware, which is unglazed pottery.

It is the feeling of making an object that can be used.
Through repeated trial and error in kiln firing, we have established our own firing method. I want to create new Bizen Pottery with original shapes and colors. I want to leave behind for the world works that only I can create. This is a challenge that I have put my life on the line for.
