Event Overview
Focusing on the approximately 100-year period from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century, this exhibition presents masterpieces of Western ceramics—primarily tea and coffee sets, along with interior decorative items—selected from the Gifu Museum of Modern Ceramics’ collection, one of Japan’s premier collections of modern and contemporary Western ceramics.

We’ll apply the transfer sheet and fire it in a mini tunnel kiln to create our own original tiles.

③ Event: “Enjoying Japanese Black Tea”
This tea seminar not only lets you sample different Japanese black teas and enjoy sweets, but also teaches you the basics—from the history of tea to its production methods.

The curator in charge will provide a tour of the exhibition. (No reservation required.)
