Hattoji Furusato Village
Hattoji Temple, which is said to have been founded by Dokagami during the Nara period (about 1,200 years ago), once boasted a prosperity that is said to rival that of Koyasan. Today, the temple has old private house-style accommodations and training facilities.

Hattoji River Dam

Cows are everywhere! Unusual shrine enshrining cows
Takura Ushi Shrine
More than 300,000 Bizen ware cows are enshrined at the shrine. When a wish is granted, it is customary to offer one more cow in return.
The two-tiered waterfall is like a landscape painting.
Fukaya Falls
It consists of a 15-meter-high male waterfall and a 7-meter-high female waterfall that flows into the basin below. Fudo Myoo is enshrined just beside it.
Nostalgic arch bridge in service for over 130 years
Anatomy (4th zodiacal sign)
Built at the time of the opening of the Sanyo Main Line in 1891, it is a civil engineering heritage recommended by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers. The arch bridge is still in service.
