"The 40th Hinase Minato Festival Fireworks Display"
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the event, which will be held on Thursday, August 13, Reiwa 8. Why not come and experience up close the spectacular fireworks that beautifully and magically illuminate the night sky and calm waters of Nissei?
✨ Highlights of the “Hinase Minato Festival”
① Feel the Thrill! A Spectacular Fireworks Display Over the Water (2,500 shots) A staggering 2,500 fireworks will be launched from a barge at sea! Thanks to Nissei’s unique geography—surrounded by mountains and islands—the sound of the fireworks exploding echoes throughout the area, allowing you to experience a powerful, gut-pounding sound that resonates deep within you. The contrast of the vibrant lights reflected on the water’s surface is breathtakingly beautiful.
② Full of Energy! Stage Events Starting in the evening, the festival will come alive with energetic dance performances by a local dance team and a powerful drum performance by the “Nissei Jinkuro Taiko” group (featuring the “Raku” and “Genpei” pieces)! You can enjoy the heat of Nissei’s summer even before the fireworks begin.

- 4:30 p.m.– Stage events (dance performances, Nissei Jinkuro Taiko drumming, etc.)
- 7:40 p.m.– Opening Remarks and Guest Speeches
- 8:00 p.m.– Hinase Minato Festival Fireworks Display (Number of fireworks: 2,500)

- We recommend using public transportation. The area around the venue will be very crowded on the day of the event. Since temporary parking spaces are limited, please use public transportation—such as the JR Ako Line—whenever possible, and please take care when traveling to the event. (*Details regarding temporary parking and JR train schedules will be posted on the official website as they become available.)
- Request Regarding Drones and Similar Devices The operation of small unmanned aircraft (such as drones) may cause the fireworks display to be interrupted or canceled. Please refrain from flying such aircraft in the vicinity of the venue on the day of the event.
