
The museum grand opened in July 2025 in Ibe, home of the Japanese Heritage "Bizen Pottery".
As a center of culture and art that promotes the tradition and contemporary appeal of Bizen ware both at home and abroad, the museum exhibits a wide variety of genres including Bizen ware, contemporary ceramics, crafts, and modern art. 1 minute walk from Ibe Station on the JR Ako Line, it is also very accessible.
Admission to the first and third floors of the museum is free.
The second floor is chargeable.
There is a tea ceremony room and lounge on the third floor, where tea ceremonies are held (reservations required). (There is also a store and café on the first floor, which is used by both local residents and visitors from far away as a place to relax and unwind.
The auditorium on the first floor can be used for lectures and meetings (reservations required).
